Press Release – Site Redevelopment and Rebranding

Date: 4 December 2021

As many of you may have noticed, there has not been much activity on the site for a number of months. This has been largely due to other priorities and work pressures preventing me from devoting as much time to this site, and its many blogs, as I would like.

In 2022 I am planning to redevelop this site and broaden its scope to more of a technology help site. As I am also refocusing my work going into 2022, the site will also include some commercial aspects, such as:

  • Training Courses, initially online but as/when the Covid 19 Pandemic abates these may shift to in person events on various subjects, for example:
    • Business Process Management
    • Business Security
  • eBooks that will initially be offered on a trial basis via this website, but will eventually be published through online publishing platforms like Amazon.

The above material will be available via premium access, the details of which are still being worked out.

The blogs will continue to be available free of charge. These will be extended to cover additional subjects, for example:

  • Business Security (current focus)
  • Microsoft Platforms such as Office, Power Platform, Windows, Cloud
  • Mobile Platforms, specifically Android.

All this is going to start happening in the new year 2022. I am unsure yet whether this will involve a few incremental changes, or a complete rebuild and publishing in a new framework. Either way the current site will continue to be available and new features will be rolled out incrementally over the first half of the year as new content is produced.

The site will also be rebranded and accessed via a new base URL – more on this later. However, the website will continue to be accessible via the current URL via a redirect. This will also be carried into our Twitter page.

You can begin to expect changes to start happening around the end of quarter 1 in 2022. In the mean time, please keep an eye on our Press Releases page for more information and our Site News pages.

May I thank you for your continued loyalty in following this website and wish you all a Happy Christmas and New Year celebrations.
